Students and their families are invited to a Melissa Schools STREAM Night next month on Thursday, April 26, located at Harry McKillop Elementary from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

STREAM is an acronym for science, technology, reading, engineering, art, and math.

The STREAM Night will feature hands-on stations, grade-level displays, breakout box escape rooms, and computer coding stations. There will be demonstrations for web design and drone flying, and student demonstrations from the Melissa High School computer maintenance classes.

Also scheduled to attend are Raytheon Engineers, High Touch High Tech of DFW, Darkspire Inc. Web Design, Apple Computers, Randy Angell Designs, and zSpace AR/VR (Virtual Reality) Experience.

Texas Roadhouse will sell hot dog dinners throughout the evening.

STREAM Night is a collaborative effort between Melissa Schools and the Region 10 Educational Service Center (ESC).
