Melissa ISD will offer in-person, virtual school options for 2020-2021

Our return-to-school informational survey is now closed. The district will share additional information as soon as it is available.

Parents and guardians of Melissa ISD students will have the option of enrolling their child in an in-person school setting or a virtual school setting for the 2020-2021 school year.

In-person school will be face-to-face instruction with added safety precautions. Virtual school will be an improved version of the spring 2020 remote learning environment.

All Melissa ISD parents and guardians are asked to complete the Fall 2020 Return-to-School Parent Survey, which asks for the return-to-school plan for each student in the household. This survey will close on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.

More detailed information regarding in-person school and virtual school will be provided as soon as plans are finalized. The district will continue to monitor conversations at the local and state level, while awaiting further guidance from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and Governor Greg Abbott regarding return-to-school operations.
