Melissa High School has announced the 2020 Homecoming Court, consisting of 10 students nominated by the senior class. Candidate bios are published on The Banner-News.
Nominees for Homecoming King include Thaddeous Baker, Parker Jack, Bryce Martin, Donnie Phillips, and Connor Sale. Nominees for Homecoming Queen include Kaylee Lewis, Kadyn King, Abby Maldonado, Tenley Tollefson, and Devynna Vela.
The Homecoming Court will be elected by the student body and the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during halftime at the Oct. 16 football game against Anna. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
The court will also appear at the Melissa Homecoming Celebration scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14. The community event includes a parade at 6:30 p.m. followed by a pep rally at Cardinal Stadium.
