Melissa Education Foundation awards nearly $150,000 in student scholarships

Sixty-three students from the Melissa High School Senior Class of 2019 received scholarships through the Melissa Education Foundation at the annual Senior Scholarship Ceremony on May 23, 2019. The scholarships totaled at just under $150,000 and were awarded by community members, business owners, and MEF board members.

The Melissa Education Foundation offers a number of scholarship opportunities each spring to the graduating class of Melissa High School. Student applicants provide teacher evaluations, a letter of recommendation, and an essay response.

Since its inception in 2007, the Melissa Education Foundation has awarded more than $1 million in grants and scholarships to students and teachers at Melissa Schools.
