Melissa High School student-athlete, Matt Holloway, participated in National Signing Day on Friday, April 26, where he signed a letter of intent to play basketball at the University of Dallas.
Holloway signed his letter in the Melissa High School gym during mega lunch, following an introduction by Melissa High School boys’ basketball coach Eric Benton. Photo ops followed with family members, coaches, teammates, and friends.
Playing for the Melissa Cardinals, Holloway earned 1,151 career points, 402 career rebounds, and 113 career threes. He is a three-year varsity player, during which he started every game and led in scoring.
Holloway is a three-time First Team All-District selection and Academic All-District selection, and was named Academic All-State.
