Middle grade award-winning book author, Pablo Cartaya, will visit Melissa Middle School on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Each grade level will attend a presentation with Mr. Cartaya. Students will have the opportunity to purchase one of Mr. Cartaya’s books ahead of time to have signed the day of the visit.

Book Order Form

A limited quantity of Pablo’s books, Marcus Vega Doesn’t Speak Spanish and The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora, are available to order in paperback for $10 each at Melissa Middle School. The order form is linked below and must be turned in by Tuesday, Feb. 25.

About the Author

Pablo Cartaya is a passionate writer, bilingual speaker, and educator who brings with him inspirational messages that allow him to connect with his middle school-aged audiences through common themes like dealing with first crushes, bullying, loss, forgiveness, and learning to value one’s family. As a result, Mr. Cartaya is an award-winning author with three published books: The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora, Marcus Vega Doesn’t Speak Spanish, and Each Tiny Spark.
