Items to Drop Off

If your student has any of the following items at home, please plan to return them on May 29 or May 30:

  • Bus pass and badge holder
  • Books from the school library
  • Books from a classroom library (book bags)
  • iPad, Chromebook, laptop, hotspot, and/or device charger issued for remote learning (please place all technology in a plastic bag and label it with your student’s name, using a piece of paper, sticky note, or a piece of masking tape)

Guidelines for Curbside Dropoff Days

  1. Practice social distancing: please stay in your car and conduct curbside dropoff/pickup at each station.
  2. Please only come to campus during the designated times.
  3. Follow the signage on display to locate the dropoff/pickup areas.
  4. Melissa ISD staff assisting with curbside dropoff/pickup will wear protective masks and gloves while handling items. Families are encouraged to wear their own personal protective materials.

Medication, Schoolwork & Supplies

If your student has medication at school, the school nurse will be in contact with you to arrange pickup or disposal.

All remaining schoolwork, classroom supplies, and other personal items can be picked up during back-to-school events in the fall. Items for students currently in Kindergarten, 5th grade, and 8th grade will be bagged and transferred to their new campus for fall pickup.

Note: Your student’s school will communicate information about yearbooks as soon as it is available.

Pickup Request

If you are leaving Melissa ISD after the 2019-2020 school year, or if you have an otherwise extenuating circumstance and need to retrieve specific items from school before the fall, please contact the school receptionist to request to arrange pickup. The school receptionists are listed below.
