Melissa High School Counselor Christina Stover was recognized Tuesday for her efforts in guiding and counseling students in exploring the United States Army as an option for their future. Sergeant Angel of the Army Dallas Recruiting Battalion presented Mrs. Stover with a plaque and certificate.
Mrs. Stover has worked with recruiters on campus throughout the school year. She organized interactive presentations that demonstrated to students how Forensics is used in the military. Additionally, she has been a resource for students who are interested in enlisting in the military, including providing students necessary paperwork and working with them to ensure that they finish the school year successfully.
