Melissa High School student-athlete, Bria Bullard, participated in National Signing Day on Thursday, Nov. 14, signing her college letter of intent to run track at Baylor University.
Bullard signed her letter in the Melissa High School gym during mega lunch, following an introduction by coaches Ashley McCarter and Clay McCarter. Bullard announced her school of choice for the first time at the signing, after showing a video highlighting her high school track career. Photo ops followed with family members, coaches, teammates, and friends.
Bullard’s personal best records include times of 11.57 in the 100-meter dash and 23.93 in the 200-meter dash. She placed third at state in the 100-meter and second at state in the 200-meter, and was a member of the Melissa Lady Cardinal regional-qualifying 4×100 sprint relay team.
