Lindsay Pitts and Precious Bale will join the elementary leadership team at Melissa ISD as assistant principals in the upcoming school year.
Lindsay Pitts will serve as the assistant principal at Harry McKillop Elementary alongside principal Krissy Womack.
“It is with great excitement that we welcome Ms. Pitts to our HME family and Melissa community,” Womack said. “She brings a wealth of instructional knowledge, leadership, support of staff and student successes, and most importantly, a love for kids.”
Precious Bale will serve as the assistant principal at North Creek Elementary alongside principal Michele Austin.
“I am excited to welcome Ms. Bale to Team Melissa and the North Creek campus,” Austin said. “Ms. Bale is known first and foremost for building positive relationships with students, staff and parents. She brings a wealth of instructional expertise and has a passion for growing teachers and students to reach their maximum potential. Precious radiates a joyful spirit, and I am eager for our Cardinal community to meet her.”
Pitts and Bale each come to Melissa with 10 years of service in education in both teaching and administrative roles.
Kim Boedeker, Executive Director of Academic Leadership, added, “I am thrilled that Ms. Pitts and Ms. Bale are joining our Cardinal team. The hiring committee worked together to find a great fit for our kids, parents, teachers, and the overall culture of our schools and community. We are excited for them to begin and join us in the planning and visioning process for our 2019-2020 school year.”
