The Melissa Education Foundation (MEF) launched its first annual "Crazy for Cards" fundraising campaign last week in support of Melissa ISD student scholarships and teacher grants. Members of the community who donate $25 or more between now and the end of October will receive a "Crazy for Cards" yard sign. Donors giving more can also receive a car sticker and meal tickets to the MEF Community Tailgate and Corn Hole Tournament scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 at the DougOut Sports Grill.

"We want to make it easy for the entire community to support our teachers and students," said Becki Girouard, MEF Executive Director. "We can’t wait to see 'Crazy for Cards' yard signs all over our neighborhoods and a huge crowd at our second annual Community Tailgate in November."

Since 2006, MEF has provided more than $1 million in scholarships to graduating seniors and grants to Melissa ISD teachers.
