Melissa ISD parents and guardians who wish to have their elementary student (grades K-5) tested for placement in the Advanced Academics & Gifted/Talented Services program must complete the referral process during the elementary referral period, open annually from Dec. 1-21.

After testing, qualifying students are placed into GT the following school year. To learn more and access the GT referral form, visit www.melissaisd.org/gt. Questions can be directed to Amanda Daniels, GT Coordinator for Melissa ISD Elementary Schools, at amandadaniels@melissaisd.org or 972-837-2632.
