Melissa ISD offices follow a modified schedule during the summer break from school. The standard summer office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with all offices closed on Fridays. Across the district, summer office hours take effect Monday, June 5 and normal office hours resume Monday, Aug. 14.
Note: The district will post an announcement on the Sumeer Elementary website and social media as soon as the front office is open for visitors.

- Summer office hours begin the week of June 5.
- Melissa ISD will be closed districtwide on May 29 for Memorial Day and on June 19 for Juneteenth.
- Early childhood education, elementary, and middle school offices will be closed from June 20 through July 14, reopening with summer office hours on July 17.
- The Melissa ISD Home Office and Melissa High School main office will be closed from June 27 through July 7, reopening with summer office hours on July 10.
The first day of the 2023-2024 school year is Tuesday, Aug. 29. Online enrollment is open for students who are new to Melissa ISD: visit www.melissaisd.org/enroll to begin New Student Enrollment. Registration for returning students opens July 19 online at www.melissaisd.org/register.
