Due to the potential for severe weather the evening of Thursday, March 2, Melissa ISD STREAM Night has been postponed with hopes of rescheduling.

Plans for STREAM Night included outdoor activities, food trucks, vendors, teacher and student volunteers, and visiting entrepreneurs from across the metroplex. The decision to postpone the event was made out of precaution and for the safety of all participants and attendees.

Any changes to Melissa ISD extracurricular activities scheduled for Thursday afternoon and evening will be communicated to students and parents/guardians by the program director, sponsor, or coach.

District and school officials are working to determine if it will be possible to reschedule Melissa ISD STREAM Night for a later date. If a new date is determined, this post will be updated and the event will be featured in district and campus communications.

Melissa ISD STREAM Night, originally scheduled from 5-7 p.m. on March 2, is an annual event for students in Pre-K through 5th grade featuring activities and presentations in the areas of science, technology, reading, engineering, and math.
