Mixed doubles teams were made up of Brandon Shipes and Megan Carr, along with Zach Butterfield and Sarah Keeton.
“I was really pleased with the effort our kids gave,” said coach Brad Crawford. “We were playing against some really tough competition from the kids in Allen, Midlothian Heritage, and Kaufman, but we hung in there and played them well. We’re getting better all the time.”
The team will work through the winter in preparation for the spring season. The spring schedule will be posted at www.melissaisd.org/athletics/tennis.
