U.S. Service Academies Forum

Saturday, Sept. 29

Cost: Free

Congressman Sam Johnson will host the U.S. Service Academies Forum on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 9:30 a.m. at the Collin College Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center, located at 9700 Wade Blvd., Frisco, TX 75035.

The forum is open to students aged 17-22, and their parents or guardians, who are interested in learning about the U.S. Service Academies.

PSAT @ MHS

Bannner: October 2018 PSAT

Wednesday, Oct. 10

Cost: $16

Melissa High School students can take the PSAT on campus on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 8:35 a.m. for a fee of $16. To secure a seat, students must sign up with their counselor and turn in advance payment by cash or check.



A Night of FAFSA

Thursday, Oct. 25

Cost: Free

Collin College will host a financial aid and scholarship presentation on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Frisco Campus Conference Center, located at 9700 Wade Blvd., Frisco, TX 75035.

Collin College staff will be available to help students complete their Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA). Click here to create a FAFSA ID.

There will be free food, drinks and door prizes.

Junior/Senior Parent Meeting @ MHS

Monday, Nov. 12

A Junior/Senior Parent Meeting will be held in the Student Union at Melissa High School on Monday, Nov. 12 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Parents and students will be presented with information regarding ACT/SAT dates, college applications, FAFSA, scholarships, career exploration, and graduation requirements.
