Thirty-two students in Computer Maintenance at Melissa High School recently completed Toshiba’s Continuous Training course, each earning an official certification.
Toshiba representatives Johanne Ibsen-Wolford and Michael Bone visited the Computer Maintenance classes on Monday to speak to students and present them with their certificates.
Ibsen-Wolford and Bone spoke about their roles at Toshiba and the sales aspect of the information technology field, in addition to the development of human interface devices and the evolution of computers and interfacing.
Computer Maintenance is taught by Chris Mueller and falls under the Information Technology cluster in the Career and Technical Education program at Melissa High School.
