In February Melissa Middle School was one of seven Texas schools to be named a 2016 “School to Watch” by the Texas Middle School Association (TMSA) and the Texas Schools to Watch program. The distinguished school will celebrate this honor at an April 28 community-wide pep rally.
Students, faculty, and the Melissa community are invited to attend this free event on Thursday, April 28 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium.
The pep rally will feature performances by the Melissa Middle School band and cheerleaders, along with games and snow cones. Hosts include Melissa City Mayor Reed Greer, Melissa Schools Superintendent Keith Murphy, and Melissa Middle School Principal Jim Miller.
