Students in Graphic Design and Advanced Graphic Design classes at Melissa High School worked last week to digitally design posters with a Homecoming theme. The top three designs will be printed and displayed on campus during Homecoming Week from Sept. 17-21.
Each design was inspired by a famous poster from history, according to art teacher Dustin Clark. Students used an iPad Pro tablet, the Apple Pencil, and the Procreate drawing application to create their illustrations.
Posters by MaKenna Miles, Hannah Mitchell, and Natalie Somers were selected as the top three designs. Posters by Louise Aguilar, Hannah Noneman, and Garrett Pearce made it into the top six selections.
