Melissa Schools will close district-wide on Monday, Jan. 21 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Students do not have school on Tuesday, Jan. 22 due to it being a Teacher Work Day.
Melissa Middle School cheerleading tryouts will take place on Feb. 15 at 4:30 p.m. in the Competition Gym.
The Melissa Booster Club will host the third annual Daddy Daughter Dance on Saturday, Feb. 16 in the Multipurpose Building. Tickets are limited. Early registration is advised.
Students do not have school on Monday, Feb. 18 due to it being a Staff Development Day.
The Melissa Education Foundation will host the second annual Melissa's Got Talent competition on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the Competition Gym. Tickets cost $10 each and are on sale now.
The choirs of Melissa Middle School and Melissa High School will perform in a Pre-UIL Choir Concert on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the Student Union at Melissa High School.
The second annual Melissa STREAM Night will take place on Thursday, Feb. 28 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at North Creek Elementary. The event will feature vendors in the areas of science, technology, reading, engineering, art, and math (STREAM).
Melissa Schools will close district-wide for Spring Break from Monday, March 11 through Friday, March 15.
Save the Date: The 11th Annual Melissa ISD Special Olympics Track Meet is scheduled for April 12, 2019 at Cardinal Stadium. Opening ceremonies begin at 9:30 a.m.
