Melissa High School teacher Cambria Dotson has been named a finalist in the 13th annual Classroom Champions Program by the Dallas Mavericks, The UPS Store, and Teach For America.
Dotson is one of 16 teachers in the running to be named one of five “Teachers of Year” which would include a $1,000 award for her classroom and $1,000 for Melissa High School.
Dotson has served Melissa High School as an English teacher for three years, and is a Melissa Schools graduate.

Winners will be announced the week of May 1 as part of Teacher Appreciation Week.
