Standout students and faculty from Melissa Schools were celebrated during Cardinal Commendations at Monday night’s Board of Trustees meeting. Elementary students Morgan Philliph and Baxlyn Cox led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas Pledge.
As part of School Board Recognition Month, the Board of Trustees received gift baskets on behalf of the students and staff at Harry McKillop Elementary, Melissa Ridge Intermediate, Melissa Middle School, and Melissa High School.
